Matrixyl 3000 is an active peptide-based ingredient clinically proven to lift & firm the skin and significantly reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It is a combination of two matrikines (derived from small endogenous peptides conjugated with palmitic acid for better delivery) that act as cell messengers to stimulate the process of skin repair.
Matrixyl 3000 was developed by the Sederma corporation, and it combines two lipo-peptides that help to improve the health of the skin cells while increasing the skin's extracellular matrix (the skin's structural framework) protein production. By regulating cell activity, elevating collagen synthesis, promoting elastin production, and delaying cell deterioration, this peptide duo repairs wrinkled skin, increases skin elasticity, and balances skin tone.
